Fanfare Entertainment’s Redneck Kingdom App Announces Winner Of "Colt Ford House Party" Decorated Marine Veteran Greg Solberg To Be Treated To An Intimate House Party By The Country Star

BURLINGAME, Calif.May 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Last year, fans of country star COLT FORD were challenged to a contest to create a video declaring why they’re his biggest fan, with the winner getting an intimate house party concert.  Now, the team behind the REDNECK KINGDOM MOBILE APP have announced the winner: U.S. Marine vet Greg Solberg of Livermore, CA.

The rules were simple: create a 15-second video of yourself explaining why you’re COLT FORD’s biggest fan.  You can see the winning entry here. The winner and 50 of his friends will be treated to a special house party concert this summer.

“I’m so excited to be headed to CA to put on a little show in the backyard of Greg Solberg, the winner of the Colt Ford House Party contest,” says FORD.  “A decorated veteran, a hard-working American, and all around good guy, Greg definitely stood out as the deserving winner of this contest. I can’t wait to meet him and his friends and family and have a fun night making a little music in his backyard.”

Contest winner Solberg is a retired Marine sergeant who saw intense action in Afghanistan.  A barbeque aficionado and avid hunter, Solberg works closely with military veterans helping them with housing, medical and social issues. Solberg would like to dedicate thisColt Ford concert to the 25 Marines from the 3rd Battalion 5th Marine regiment who gave their lives in Sangin, Afghanistan. May they rest easy, and never be forgotten.

Shannon Houchins of Average Joes Entertainment, said, “This was a great way to engage fans in a fun, interactive way.  We reached a lot of people and got some great responses.  We were excited to be a part of it.”

Lance Kelly of Fanfare Entertainment agreed, saying, “We’re psyched to be working with people like Colt Ford and Average Joes Entertainment.  The Redneck Kingdom app is a fun, interactive LIFESTYLE APP, and we’re glad to see so many people engage in the ‘Colt Ford House Party’ contest.”
